Hey guys,
I was wondering if there were any growers near where I live. It would be great to talk to orchid growers, or gardeners in general. I love talking to people about orchids and gerdening, because I learn something new all the time.
Are there growers that live in Massachusetts?

How long have you been growing for?
I'm in amherst. If you're near here, we have a local orchid society that meets 3rd sunday afternoons in the munson library in south amherst.
hmmm yah im from Blackstone, MA. I wish i could make it up there. Or even find a job within the orchid world. That would be ideal.
I'm from Raynham, near Easton.
what kinda of orchids do you both grow?
Hi Jay,
I am in Western Mass, near Pittsfield.
I have 18 orchids, my husband has about 50 of them. I grow phal's, dendrobiums, 'lady slippers', have 1 epicatleya, 1 Lctna., and 1 Vanda.
I would love some advice about how to get the epicatleya, and especially the Vanda, to bloom. As I live in a colder climate (hence my orchids must stay indoors much of the year), I don't know if the Vanda will ever bloom again, as I believe that it needs 8 hours of full sun... I am glad to get in touch with other Massachusetts growers.
