Default Mounted Oncidium Orchids for ONCIDIUM Lovers!

I have mounted these Oncidiums onto an old tree trunk, i.e. sank the old tree trunk into the ground and attached several plants. Location gets full morning - noon sun and it thrives, i.e. continuous blooms ALL year! Enjoy.

    Cheers, Michael

Michael, that is wonderful! I would love to do something like that. Maybe when I can move to a more tropical climate. I love it. Thanks.

    Cheers,

How unique...an orchid tree...now, that's thinking outside of the box just hope the tree dosn't take root and grow also...back here, we do have one that can to that.

Hi that is a really great idea. I wish I could grow something like that here in Wisconsin... Too cold. It would have to be mobile to bring inside when is is cold, maybe on a smaller scale too. I have a small house that has a lot of orchids around in different places. What kind of wood was it, and how many plants? I have more cattleyas than oncidiums.
