Cattleya dowiana var aurea cleaned up for repot. Potted in s/h too soon, and wasn't sure it would last until new roots sprouted. Has new roots and growing 'eye'. Should do fine.

The original product sold as PrimeAgra was a rebranded product made in Holland. The quality control went to hell - bad particle size grading, excessive manufacturing residues, etc, and it was a mess. A few principals of the company started their own plant in Belgium, and with the help of commercial hydroponic growers in Europe and Canada, plus me from the orchid side (and being a ceramic engineer), they actually tailored their manufacturing to meet the needs of plants, rather than for use as a concrete aggregate, which is what all other grades of LECA are.

The new product is actually better, but some objected to the change.
