What an interesting plant! Does it need a resting period if grown inside?
I just bring it inside in fall, water and feed it along with the orchids and then keep an eye out for bloom stalks in February. It tends to get a bit ratty looking at times and I trim the dead ends off leaves when I bring it in. So no real rest period.
Put me on the list as well .
I have 2 Walking Iris one is the blue and white the other is yellow . Yours is very beautiful I Don't have that one .. Gin
Thanks guys I started with 3 plants growing in the garden and they didn't do well for a while as we have 2 dogs and they step all over them, but once we put a small fence to keep the dogs out they started to flourish. The mature leaves which are about 2 to 2.5 feet in height will send runners (near the tip of the leaves) which eventually becomes a new plant so they could colonize a part of the garden quite easily.
forget daylilly, there is a dayiris!
