    Thanks for sharing, Abiom. I saw plenty of flickingeria in our highland too. I suppose it's common but typical highland type.

    Today,my friends and went for another outing again, a short one but tiring because of the trail need some climbing. Some photos to share and hope you guys like them

    many epiphytes up there including wild orchids

    Can u see it? so high...

    Grammatophyllum speciosum-never thought will find this sp in wild

    this is really ancient jungle.Trees are giant here

    waterfall going over the edge

    some bugs we came accross on way back

    giant millipede

    fallen orchid-coelogyne. they were many,but dont think can revive them at home.better leave to nature

    and last-wild fruit,not sure if it's edible or not

    Default Jungle trekking 17032012

    Another trip to jungle and so far this is the best bcoz got to see/shown by friends terrestrial and saprophytes. Todate,this was the largest group-7 persons including me frm 3 different states got together for orchids.

    Shown by freinds that these were terrestrials, dont know id though




    cymbidium bicolor?
