    Default Cymbidium ensifolium species

    This is the first bloom for me on a red form of the species ensifolium var Hong Niang i got from China. It is very warm tolerant

    Thanks BD..I'm interested in different ensifolium varieties for some breeding work..This one is the most red I've seen so far. Be interesting to see what happens to the pods I've set to see if they take. Then some patience..
    I selfed it and intend to see if I can convert it to 4n and I also set some 2n Red Beauty on it to increase flower size and because RB tends to have some warm tolerance.
