    I'm curious what kind of terrestrial orchid growing on the leaf litter rich in humus and organic materials. Just observed the healthy leafs I think maybe Calanthe species.

    This time I'm very lucky saw wild Arachnis in flowered very pretty and having long spike I was shock for a shot a while and then smile enjoying his beauties.

    For those who interested to see how Dendrobium farmeri well grown in nature here I brought to you few clumps very healthy plants on vertical surface of the rock.If you observed carefully there was small seedpod I think already burst how strange this species adapted very well without much nutrient from the rock but still can be achieved adult size amazing.

    Al, I cannot tell you how much of a joy it is for me to see all your pics. I live in Naples, Florida just on the edge of the everglades and I go out into the swamps every now and then on a photographic orchid hunt. Your area of Malaysia looks beautiful and not at all unlike some ares of Florida. The area I live in is considered the orchid seat of the USA. Lots of alligators also!
