    Thank you so much Rich! I definitely will take some photos of the roots as I re-pot. I hope its salvageable!

    It recently had a new stalk grow, so I am assuming there is still a good chance!

    Kirsten, be sure to soak the roots in tepid water fot 10 to 15 minutes before removing dead or rotted roots. The soak allows the living roots to absorb water and plump up.
