    Default East Coast Park, Singapore

In fact, I wanted to visit the nature reserve this week, I still do. But in the meantime, my children wanted to cycle by the beach, so I took them there. I took some shots there as well.

East Coast Park is one of the coastal park in Singapore. It stretches the whole eastern coast. The start point is in fact only less than 5km from the venue of WOC. During the weekends, this place is packed with cyclist, bladers, anglers, parents with prams, joggers etc. I think its kind of like what you see in Miami Beach.

I think you would also find it very similar to Tampa Bay. Tampa is slightly North of Miami, in Florida. The big tankers like in your pictures come through the bay. I like your pictures of the green tree lined streets. Places like that are always so pretty to see. Your last picture (from the 1st set) though, reminds me of Germany. The streets were always so narrow in some areas. The sidewalks were a small strip as well too. I used to enjoy the lovely gardens the locals had built into every small space. You take very colorful pictures...thank you for sharing.

Vincent; you obviously spent quite sometime on this photographic tour. I almost feel as if I was there myself. The tropical plants of course are of particular interest. Thank you for your efforts! Happy Holidays! AL

Great shots of a great place. I remember going there with with the grand-daughters and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves there. Unfortunately the outing was cut short by the afternoon rain. Are there any rainless aftrnoons in S'pore? Hehehe..

Are you sure those are coconut trees? They look more like The Royal Palms ( Roystonea regia ).

When it comes to oct, nov and dec, theres rain everyday. I did sneaked A visit to the zoo today though Coz it's a rare occasion where it didn't rain.

As for the trees. Seriously, I didtake for granted that they are coconuts. I'll verify at ext visit .

Really liked the flower shots, Vincent! The coastal and park shots were peaceful. Quite nice that you were able to enjoy them while those areas weren't packed with people.
