Got any of these for sale Louis?

VERY cool. I brutally murdered my Brassia Rex Sakata, but want to give a Brassia a try again, and I really like this one.

Thanks again--Brassias are definitely the antithesis of Floof, and I really like the almost military arrangement of flowers on the spike.

Julie, flowers last about a month. I can't help getting them wet here when I water, but if you keep them dry, they'll last longer.

(Kewpie's a boy? No way! Kewpie, you're not a boy, are you? This whole time I thought you were a girl! You are a girl, aren't you?)

Ronnie-Sue, I've only noticed fragrance early in the morning, when the flowers first get hit by sunlight. I don't think it takes much--more of a time-of-day issue, I think. To my knowledge, most Brassias are going to be fragrant, but subtly, not knock-you-over fragrant like some Cattleyas.

Matt, this is my last division of this particular grex, but I've got 3 left of Brs. Eternal Wind 'Sato'. Haven't put them on the website yet since I keep forgetting to take pics of them, but the three I've got are in bud, and flowers are even bigger, usually ten / twelve inches from top to bottom when they open. They're a hybrid of gieroudiana, brachiata, and verrucosa, hence the larger flower size (gieroudiana is the largest Brassia species). Also fragrant, but more spicy, kind of like mulled wine. They're $29 in bud, and I'll put them up this afternoon (pictureless) in case you want to buy one. Lips (or skirts) are a little wider, longer, and they're freckled with tiny maroon spots--very cool, I think.

    Damn it, Louis!

You had to go and mention those brassia! (She looks around for any free horizontal surface...)

    Resistance is futile.

I have a Brassia already, Gin. I know - what's one when you can own a dozen, but the thing grows like a weed and it's in a huge pot. I really don't have more room... If I were to get another (and Louis' is certainly calling to me) I think it would be one of those bright white ones. They're way cool!

Sorry Kewpie for not sexing you correctly. I was tired, trying to get through all the posts before they vanished at the stroke of the second hour and...well...you started up about yours being bigger than Louis'. Brain fart on my behalf.
