I love it when a small, young orchid such as this produces such a amazing variety of colors. I am glad you were able to raise that single growth to fruition. AL

Cheers,
I got this 2 years ago, just as I am starting with this hobby. Unfortunately
due to my lack of knowledge then (even now i guess), I have killed the mother
plant but just before it died it produced a single growth that I was able to put
into S/H and now 2 years later its given me its first flower... although only 4
buds at the moment I am still happy simply because I now have the luxury of
having the fragrance of vanilla chocolate without the calories.
I am hoping for a better show in the future.

That's really lovely.
Gud on you, you saved that lovely orchid, and you've already been rewarded for that!
hi randy,
congrats!
yours should be 'Tricolor', if im not mistaken. mine is in bud now and havent seen it blooming yet.
Thanks guys... and thanks Ron.
Randy are you sure it is sharry baby? Because the one I have has no yellow and the petals are maroon all over.
Great save! Beautiful bloom you got there.
Can't beat the fragrance of a Sherry Baby.
Beautiful, I agree with the above about it being Oncidium Sharry Baby 'Tricolor'.
Cheers,
