    Default My Rhynchostylis gigantea 'Spots'

The second of giganteas to bloom. This one also has two spikes. This is the first time blooming. I am pleasantly amazed by the spot pattern, as it can be quite varied. I am now on the lookout for the cartoon spot pattern.

Amey, I like this species very much, but this is only one Rhynchostylis which make me diffuculties. I lost already many plants. Strange.

From what I observed, they like to dry out between the waterings and need lot of sun and air movement. Their fleshy leaves are more prone to rot than the retusas.

you are right, it's also my observation. Rh. retusa doesn't make any problems.
