About to aquire some Calypso bulbosa seeds and doing some species research I am getting conflicting information. One source says sow on bark and keep moist, takes seven years to flower. Other souce says max life span is 5 years, and wont germinate without proper fungi present. Yet another source says to flask them as you would other orchids.
I'm not super anxious to jump into flasking untill I get the proper equipment, and have it all set up (but eager to try once prepared). Should I just sow it in a terrarium? Should I go ahead and flask it? What should it be planted on, bark, or moss? Go out and collect some debris from where they naturally grow?
Advice is appreciated. These seeds are a gift from a coworker, and I don't want to mess them up.
