Default Got my plant!! Got my plant!!

and it ain't no Floof Ball!!!

I got a Mtdm. Cleo's Pride 'Hof. This is really a great looking plant - very healthy, in spike, not too big, not too small. Check out the pic in the catalog. It has very cool looking green flowers. I love green flowers.

Thanks so much Louis. It's perfect.

I just have to say one more thing. I have never seen an orchid plant packed so well. This one could have made that trip to PR and back a couple of times with no problem.

And just one more thing. Thank you sooooooo much for not using tape or that shredded stuff over the top of the pot & bark. I have never understood why so many places do that. You can't tear the tape or that shredded stuff off. The tape always sticks to roots and the bark and is just a pain to try to remove. That shredded stuff always gets caught on everything and ends up all over the house. I hate it, hate it!!

This plant had strong, yet very easy to tear paper over the bark. It was secured on the pot with easy to remove masking tape. No struggling, no mess, no broken roots. Whoever thought of using that was a genius. Give him/her a raise.

    Anyway, I am happy today.

You're more than welcome, Kev. Was my pleasure to send it.

And dang, what a nice pic, logo all out in front--

Seriously, hope it brings you lots and lots of blooms.

    Kev!

As someone who debated between calling himself Orchidzrule or Intergericzrule, I must say I love that plant. It just looks to be bursting with health & vigor. And I second Gin's request--Please show us the blooms when that happy event takes place.

Glad you are so pleased with Louis's selection. You deserve it!

    Cheers,

    Rob

That plant just screams good energy. Way to go RVO on the plant, and way to go Kev. on the award.

    Yeppers,

Totally agree with Matt. If that's typical of RVO's plants, I'm most impressed. The only problem? My admiration means nothing because I can't get plants from there!!!!!! (Note to Louis, I'm happy to recommend you to Americans even though I can't get plants from you so I suppose my admiration isn't totally useless.)

    Cheers,

    Rob

    Rob-

Not sure if you read my reply post to you under my "please shoot me" thread....
My parents might be selling their place South of Kenora, ON, but if not, I'll probably be up there this Fall. I don't mind bringing a plant along, I only follow rules that I believe make sense!
I'll let you know, in case RVO has something you're really lusting over!

It really is a nice plant. Since I don't have a whole lot in spike right now, this will be a real treat. Louis told me there's something "special" about the blooms. I will post a pic when it happens.
