Cross of Pot. Lemon Tree x Blc.Tassie Barbero. This plant also picked up last weekend in bud. This is much more yellow than the older plant that was in bloom, for I don't know how long at the nursery. I hope that it does get a little darker(Orange). I haven't really been able to find much of a scent yet? Some of you might not like what I did with this plant. These Cattleya were in pots, 90% moss and a little bit of bark mix. It took two hours to get the roots cleaned out of the moss. They had been in these pots for two years. The roots had green algae all over them and covering the walls of the plastic pots. I did not only repot this plant, I also divided this plant into two baskets (photo 2) shows both plants in there new homes. After the division, I did give the plants a good shot of Hormex, to help with the trauma that I put on these plants. Having Fun Again,Rich
Very nice, Rich! Love the sunshiny color of this cattleya orchid bloom! I think you will be very successful with these two divisions. I love the way they look in your baskets and now, hopefully, you will get twin bloomings in the future.
Cheers,
