Help! Cymbidium orchid in trouble

Hi, Please Help! Perhaps someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, I bought this Cymbidium orchid ± 6 months ago healthy and in full bloom, when the spike started ageing I cut it off and put the plant outside with all my Catts onder a tree. But all the new growth seams to be diseased?
I have never owned a Cymbid so not sure how to care for it, the catts get water/feed once a week and I have given the Cymbid the same care, It is planted in coconut husk. will post a few pics as well,

looks like sunburn to me... maybe you have exposed it to sun to fast that the leaves were not able to adjust. lets wait for more experienced members to chime in.

I don't think it is sunburn. I think you've got a bacterial (less likley) or fungal infection (judging by the small brown spots on the leaves of the older pseudobulbs, wich I can see in the third picture).

Fungus.. First check the roots and cut out any bad ones. Then cut off the bad leaves and make sure there are some good ones left. Cyms will take full sun if adapted over a few days, so I doubt that's an issue. I'd say you probably don't have enough air movement around the plant (is it on the ground?). I'd get it out from under the tree. They like light and the like lots of water if the media is well draining. Coco chips are ok but I'd add some perlite and maybe some bark that is larger for good drainage, and some oyster shell or dolomite.
You can treat the plant with fungicide too if you like. Copper based will work on all fungi

Thank you all for the info and advise, the plant is somewhat pot bound so I think I will repot and use some course Pine bark in the mix. I have already moved it to a spot that gets more sunlight. Perhapse a dose of fungicide wont hurt either, thanks again.
