Middle I live about 2 hours from you outside of Augusta. The problem with your with the brassia is more than likely light. Since you say it looks healthy but refuses to bloom. I have a brassia hybred that refused to bloom untill I gave it ample evening sun last year. It was in the sun from about 1 till the sun dipped below the trees. I just made sure to water it about every 2 to 3 days. Even now in my GH on sunny days with humidity 60% and up I still have to water about every 2 to 4 days. If its over cast then they can go longer. The more airmovement the better, but it also drys out the plants faster. That can be a good thing. I would venture to say 80 to 85% of the time if the plant looks healthy, but refuses to bloom its because of low light conditions. How much fert to you use? I know you say weakly, but you also mentioned the little spoon that came in the fert container. You should be using 1/4 of that spoon every week or 1/2 every other week. Now one of two things happened to the few you say are shivled. Either your not watering enough, or they stayed too wet without enough air movement and the roots rotted. I would check the roots. When was the last time you repotted? If the medium is old then it holds to much water and over watering can give tyhe sight of underwatering too because the plant has lost most or all of its roots. Check those and give up some more details. I knwo when I grew inside I killed almost every phal I had because of over watering. Also I say I water every 2 to 4 days those are for the plants outside the ones inside I have to check because some days they dry fast and others times they don't. You just have to learn to follow the ques from the plant and experiment too. I have a friend that grows in S/H and everything looks stunning, but untill I got a GH I couldnt grow in it. I am just now retesting the waters of S/H with 4 test plants. So far so good. Good luck and hit us back with more details please.
