This is an excellent variety, Zainal. Love that rust-coloured, lacquered look.

Love the color combination in this orchid, Zain. Wonderful orchid and photographs.
Cheers,

What a beauty En. Zainal, Congrats.
A nice species this ; totally unknown in UK - as is true of most Vanda species - such a loss.
Maybe I'll buy a trunk-size sponge bag , and pay a visit to the orchid dealers around you Zain...
Thanks for looking and comments.
Geoff you are welcome, so far I already saw few variations in this species, pure red, brown with yellow marking and the above one. Unfortunately the red var the leaves doesn't sound good got a lots of black streaks maybe virus so not there to get one.Zain
Interesting ;I had a visitor to my collection yesterday ( nothing new there...) but one who is an experienced grower with a good collection of plants although mostly in genera I don't grow or know - a lot of African terrestrials for example , but the conversation turned to the subject of viruses ; we both agreed that Cymbidiums are the worst things for being virus prone , maybe followed by Odontoglossums and Cattleyas, but we had never met or heard of virus in some genera at all - and in my innocence I included Vanda as virus free.... now I know better.
how wonderful zain!
