    I also have one about 5 years old. It is growing without any media - in a ball with about 30 growths and it blooms constantly. I just spray it down once a week when I water and it continues to grow like crazy. I love this plant.

    Seeing that there are a few abbreviated forms of Stellamizutaara I checked for the correct one and it is Stlma like BD's . While checking I came across what must be the most complex cross - an octo(?)generic Statterara (Sat) = Broughtonia x Cattelya x Caularthron x Encyclia x Laelia x Prosthechea x Rhyncholaelia x Sophronitis. 8 genera!!!!! I googled but can't find that cross. Does anyone know of this cross?
