I have several phals blooming, but not producing new leaves. I think I read or heard that you should get 2 new leaves a year on Phals. Does this occur after blooming, or during????
My phals don't put out leaves until they are done blooming.
And some phals will grow roots instead of leaves. Guess they want to keep us all guessing.
Cheers,
BD
Usually phals start growing new leaves after they are done blooming, but is not unusual for them to grow a new leaf and a new spike at the same time (I have one doing that as we speak).
