I bought this small ( very ! ) plant on e-bay, can't think why I said to myself when I saw the single cane the size of a small pencil , and quite leafless too. But I paid very little for it anyway. But now it has a new growth, and a pair of quite sweet flowers. Not large, but not tiny - maybe 3 cm or so.
I looked it up and IOSPE says "said toi be conspecific with D. primulinum". I can see the resemblance, but the cane is quite different . Not sure what the leaves will be like, yet ! Might be nice, when bigger , but primulinum never makes large plants I think. I remember seeing it growing very improbably on the side of the trunk of trees, no-where near any moss or leaves or anything else, and never more than a few 8 inch canes.
But maybe some of our South-East Asian members can tell me more ?
