That is one healthy looking oncidium orchid, Geoff. Love all the bright yellow blooms on it.
Cheers,

Epiweb is a synthetic tree-fern substitute I was persuaded to buy and try. Does not seem to hold water at all, but roots grow through it . Fine if you can spray every day or more. I putb two newly purchased plants of this species onto different slabs of Epiweb. The other one ( not shown here) has three spikes, but not many flowers out yet.
The jury is still out on whether this is a good idea - maybe it is for this species, which if I put it into a pot, immediately tries to climb out again. ( For those who don't recognise the joke, every new growth is always a couple of inches above the last).

The roots do seem to like crawling all over the epiweb.
