Another flower I found at the nursery, the moment I saw this, I remembered how Yew loves Dawn Marees, so this is for you, Yew.

Very thoughtful of you, Vincent. Thanks for posting. Are you aware that Den Dawn Maree and the other Formosae dendrobes are called 'everlasting' orchids - the blooms seem to last forever, weeks and months. Mine still have flowers on them.And new buds are already on the way.

Thanks Vincent for the pix of Den Formidible ( doesn't spell right but that is the registered name ). Yes the lateral petals are broader than Dawn Maree and I imagine the flowers are bigger too. I think I have it somewhere among my Formosae hybrids.

Yeah, this flower is huge, only slightly smaller than a BLC.
