    This fruit fly visiting this bulb flower which emitting nice fragrant while looking for something his abdomen was glued by the sticky column.

    Poor little fella. Is he the normal pollinator for this bulbo orchid?

    Well...I hope he's enjoying himself...while he slowly dies. Can't you unglue him/her? Maybe a couple of toothpicks would help...Betty

    Yes Bruce this is the one that pollinate the fragrant Bulbos here.

    Too bad he got stuck then. It is interesting to see what the pollinator is. The third photo is really very good and shows him off well.

    You are right but this bug make the life span of beautiful flower instead of 7 days become 2 days only after incidentally remove the pollen, well how beautiful mother nature helping pollination.
