Propagating Neofinetia falcata

HI,

Does anyone have any info on Propogating Neofinetia Falcata, I have searched the web but cant seem to find anything.

It is just the same as a phal?

Any help would be apreciated

Here's what I found online: " Neofinetia falcata is propagated from seed or by separating the fanlike growths as they develop into clumps."

I take divisions almost every year from my original plant. I pot my Neos, in sphagnum so every year after they bloom (in the fall for me) I unpot them and wash the roots clear. I then take a few test tugs to see where the loosest 'joint' between stems appears. A nice clean cut with a nice clean razor blade and there you have a new plant. I dip the cut end into Flowers of Sulphur to help dry out/seal the cut and then pot them all back up again in clean damp moss. I use plastic pots with the moss, clay tends to wick the moisture out of the moss and they dry out alot. I do not pot the plants high in the pot as you often see in Japanese plantings - too hard to water for me.
