awesome! now he needs a few miscelaneous orchids to finish it off......maybe some Disas in the pond and some nice dendrobiums and coelogynes in the palms?

My uncle did not grow orchids but only fish in the pond, maybe next time I would recommend him to plant a few orchids to relax

Disas would be fantastic! they naturally grow in running water

The Disas will probably be steamed at these warm temperatures and then you could probably serve them with the fired fish LOL !. But the country side of HCM city really doesn't look all that different from the villages near my city in India.

Very nice photos, Hoanglong. Actually very much like our kampung (village) scene - right down to the coconut and areca -nut palms. I can even recognise part of a guava tree and maybe the water convolvulus too. My nephew's wife comes from Cao Moi in the Delta region, south of HCM City. The scenery there looks very similar too.
