This is a weird but nice Dendrobium from Thailand which the vendor told me is called Den Liberty White 'Mutation'. I bought the plant about a year ago and it has not produced any new growth. However since I got it it has rebloomed 3 times from the old p-bulbs. The first 2 reblooms produced 'normal' flowers with green fringes, as seen in one of the pictures, but the latest from a leafless back bulb has produced completely white flowers without the green markings. There are 10 flowers compared to the earlier 6 - 8. This 'mutated' form must be quite unstable. I can only attribute this change to stress caused by the extreme heat we are experiencing and the weak condition of the plant. After this blooming I'm going to repot it and check on the condition of the roots. BTW it is still growing in the coconut husk medium it came in.
