or Geum triflorum. These have the coolest seed heads. It's easy to see why the plant was named this.

WOW! Nice one Kev, they look like me on a bad hair day! Yes I know still stunning !
So... when those seeds fly off in the air, do they then start to grow where ever they land, I mean can they become a real weed and stuff.. are they real easy to grow?
I just added this to my orchid wish list... and yes I know it's not an orchid, but well, it's early and I've only had one sip of my tea!
Cheers

Cool, cool, cool!
I was thinking they should be called 'Big Hair'.
I lived in a very Italian part of Brooklyn for a stint...

Glad you like them.

They are like a bad hair day, but hair full of spray or something. What's really kind of strange is that they don't fly away. When it rains they just get real droopy like a REALLY BAD HAIR DAY. I've never noticed them sprouting all over the garden, but then again I do clean my garden like I clean my house. Nothing really has a chance to grow if I haven't planted it.
It could be a hair band from the 80's!
Very pretty!
