Jason, that's AWESOME and very quick to acquire a Vanda. Congrats.

It is beautiful. There are so many ways to grow Vandas when you can provide the 'right' growing environment. If you want to build a indoor Vanda house, send me a PM. I will share that with you.

Prior to the Vanda house, I tried the Vase Culture and nearly killed most of them due to either too much water or too little water. BUT I know most of the forum members in Europe are very successful in growing in the vase. I am sure you will get LOTs of help.

    Anyway, you did GOOD!

    Thanks Pavel and Naoki,
This was stuffed in vase but i have removed it as i know i wouldnt want to be stuck inside there so why should this Vanda be. I have rested it on top of the case for now until i get the Basket on Monday for it.
I am considering a vanda house so i can get a few more so thank you for the kind offer i will pm you as soon as i am able to start one.

Good luck Jason. So you did take the plunge. It's a very nice one. I grow mine in Vases. As Naoki already did mention in Europe a lot op people grow in vases. When you grow in a windowsill it's a very good way to grow them.

Looking good Jason. For me it's working well. One of my Vanda's is having a spike now.
I did enclose a photo for you to see. I do mist them daily. Depending on the temperature how often. Once a week I do soak them with fertilizer. I hope this will help.

Jason, You could not have chosen a nicer plant. I'm excited for you!
I can't help with growing indoors. But there are so many here that do. Willike has gotten her Vanda to spike. Naoki, with his tent city...and all the others growing in UK.
    What is the cross?
