Default Mini Phal yellowing - Only one of three on same Cork tube mount

    Hi all,
I think i know what the problem is here but confuzzeled as there is another two mini phals on same mount. The yellowing has happened over the last two or three days
    Story:
Well its no secret that i have BLACK fingers when it comes to phals. These ended up very badly dehydrated and i spent the last two weeks getting them back to normal. I did this by mounting them on a cork tube with a bit of Sphagnum moss after cutting nearly all there roots off (that wasnt my fault they were in that condition when bought but was in flower so i left them) i placed them into the vivarium to help them get moisture back and they are no all grwing new roots.
The cork tube was placed 3ft away from the light in the viv and has shade in the position they was placed in.
My diagnosis is Too much light but why are the other two ok (Maybe the top on is shading the other two) hopefully light is my only problem but im sure someone else will know this for sure.

    Thaks for any help
PS will i get the colour back or is it there to stay now.

Maybe this one has a weaker root system also? The orchids leaves in the final photo have some indentions. Is there a pest present?

    Cheers,

    Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the reply. I gave up on this one this morning i found an earwig on the tube this morning very close to where the plant was so i have now removed the plant and sprayed the inside of the Viv with Provado aerosol form just incase there is or was any other little nasties in there.

Having felt a bit guilty at throwing it on the compost heap i have mounted it on an old outside xmas tree that has lost its needles. Lets see if it can pick itself up before the slugs and snails get wind of it.

think its ok but the colors wont get back to green lets just hope theres new leaves. but the leaves ae quite healhy coz its not floofy! since i water my phal everyday i never put moss around.. hehehe just secure them tight! usually you wont have a problem when u mount them, i find phals grow best when they are mounted on wood, air ventilation, the roots getting from the sun's energy...

It's outside now. When i checked it early this morning it has lost the three yellow leaves. They also felt a bit wierd when I squeezed them. Like a balloon with water in. The three remaining leaves seem ok so i will see what happens with it outside now.
