    Smile Oncidium Wildcat (Colmanara Wildcat)

I bought this oncidium for a whooping $1! Back in the beginning of June I was perusing some orchids at the nursery of a local retail store when the manager comes up to me and says, "If you're interested in this one, I'll give it to you for a $1. It's dried out and dying." It was one of those orchids-in-a-bag, so I couldn't really tell how bad of a condition it was in. But for $1, I could not resist.
One of the older pbulbs was shriveled up, but the rest of the plant was in PERFECT condition. And to my surprise, it was in spike
I think I should be seeing some blooms within the next week or two.

Good deal! And look at all the buds on that spike! What perfume were you wearing when that manager came around??

Great deal. I love it when the GC or owner says its dying just because its a bit shriveled and they know no better than to give it away or sell it for next to nothing. Great bargain especially with a spike

LOLOLOL! I think it was bug spray with a hint of sweat and sun screen. I guess I should patent that scent. LOLOLOLOLOL!

Wow. That's a good deal. Maybe you can sent me the recipe of that perfume. Perhaps it will help.
