Nice, do you get lots of blooms on this one?
cheers,
BD
Angel, what an outstanding variety of color! Like you, I have several all around my side/front yard. I hardly tend to them, as I am always focused on my pool landscape....along with my first time orchid also there !
I am always surprised how well they continue to bloom, despite ,y somewhat negligence. Your photos and the feedback from other members makes me realize that I must "stop and enjoy the hibiscus" more when I drive into my driveway and head to my back patio!
Jane, we tend to ignore the hibiscus perhaps because they are not fussy plants. They do thrive on neglect, though the occasional trim makes a more shapely bush. I am limited only by the space of my small garden. Otherwise I would plant more. There is so much variety of hibiscus here.
what a beautiful collection, sad to say living in Florida I do not have a single hibiscus to my name, thanks for sharing yours.
Why don't you try growing them, Ed? I think the hibiscus would grow in your area.
they do grow very well here, I landscaped my yard mostly with drought tolerant plants, my first love in plants was cacti and succulents
They are ubiquitous over here, Ed, the hibiscus, the bougainvillea, and crottons. Private gardens, along the sidewalks, on vacant lots, and even on the beach. I have a few cacti in little pots. The larger ones are planted in the ground.
