The marbling of the colors on this one is really neat. Thank you for sharing your plants with us, Angel; they're wonderful!

Thanks Bruce. Yeah, does look like the "punk" of the hibiscus world. Cool.

You're welcome, Patty. It took me some time to appreciate this one. When I first saw it, I thought it was ugly.

That's an odd one. It has a nice color red with stripes.

Yes, Willeke, odd it is. As I wrote earlier, the first time I saw it, I thought it was really ugly. The only reason I have it is that the plant seller gave me some cuttings for free. I was actually buying some other ornamental plants. Among the many cuttings, only one took root. This is its first bloom. Anyway, I'm glad you like it somehow.

There is a Hibiscus hybridizer in st. petersburg, fl. He grafts most of his on rootstock. I swear some of them look totally metallic. I first saw his plants at sale and was blown away by the colors. I had never seen anything like it. I'm from south florida and hibiscus are everywhere but not like this.

Metallic? Wow, never seen anything like that. I hope you took some photos, Cathy.
