Hopefully in the future the plants will be dense enough that they weeds can't come through as it is in the older gardens. No need for a pond as we live on a small canal with many birds, turtles, fish and of course gators. I would love to have a pond with Koi but the herons wouldn't allow it. We spent every available evening out on the swing surveying the plantation, LOL.
Sounds fantastic. Except for the gators. That is a bit less. To bad you can not have a pond, but the koi are to expensive to let them be eaten by herons.
