    Default My New Garden

After several years of trying to grow grass we gave up and put in more gardens. We killed the green stuff, added curbing and after 2 big rolls of landscape cloth and 75 bags of mulch we have a wonderful palate for butterfly plants and greenery.

Wow. That is some nice garden and very large. I understand that you did not like the grass. It's always a problem to keep it nice. A pond would sure give a nice touch to it.

Wow, Cin - that looks like it was a lot of backbreaking work. 75 bags of mulch?! Yegads!

You do, of course, realize that now you WILL have grass coming up in that whole cleared area? Grass is highly overrated as a groundcover, IMO. It's also one of the most tenacious weeds in a flowerbed.
