Beautiful large white orchid blooms! So nice. I bet fragrant too? The foliage looks so good as well. You always have amazing orchid plants in your shots. You do such a good job caring for your orchids. No wonder you are so rewarded with exceptional blooms!!

    cheers,
    BD

I haven't done my homework, but are you quite sure that isn't an Angraecum ?

(Mind, it is the Aerangis season here in UK ! )

Have I said that much as I admire the DNA investigations, I have some doubts about the way the DNA is interpreted - it seems to me that it is possible to reset the brackets to any part of the Clade diagram that you want, and thus "prove" anything you want . Maybe if I could have someone at Kew explain it to me, instead of the nonsense accounts which appear in the technical press, I might be more believing. Not that I am aware of any DNA questions about this particular species - it just looks like an Angraecium to me !
