Most of my dendrobiums are no names. With so many in spike and bloom, I thought i'd post these no names together. If I had to choose only one type of orchid to grow it would probably be this kind of dendrobium. They seem to love it here.
Now that this lovely pink flower has opened it's easy to see why the other stalk was so short. There are two kinds of dendrobiums in this pot. I'll be repotting them when the flowers are done this time. lol
The dark purple flowers are now in a vase. I was moving the spike and it snapped off in my hands. Oops...

Love how the one stem rambles across your worktop to reach its ideal spot and then boom, explosion of blooms
Beautiful blooms Connie.
I had to move it as where it had been hanging it was beginning to singe the leaves. I didn't pay attention and when I picked it up by it's hanger one side came off and I broke a small growing spike off. The pot is plastic and light so the plants needed to be propped and balanced. This area is my "show off" spot. I see my plants in bloom anytime I move around the house.
Nice flowers connie, i think we all should get some of this dends, i have one and almost killed it twice but it wont die it just keeps on growing.
Mabuhay!
Simply lovely!!!
