Cool FWCOS Orchid Safari; Annual Sale/Show

I realized that October is almost here, which means it is time for the Florida West Coast Orchid Society Orchid Safari annual sale/show. Save up and mark these dates on the calendar; October 1st, Saturday the doors open at 10:00 a.m. (If you see a gimpy chick in a wheel chair taking tons and tons of pics...that's probably me. I'll be there when the doors open!) They close down at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Sunday they open back up at 10:00 a.m. and close down at 4:00 p.m. If you want your pick of the nicest plants show up early. Vendors keep plants back for Sunday morning. So either day is a good day to show up early. I look forward to seeing some of you there. If you want to see what a sale looks like, check out the previous years' show. http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...show-sale.html And another years show....http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...show-sale.html

Alas! Way too far for me. If you find a nice Ctna Maui Maid 'Lea' X 'December Bride' (a very nice pure white minicatt that has a nice fragrance to boot) you can snag if for me though.

"If you see a gimpy chick in a wheel chair taking tons and tons of pics...that's probably me".

Thats funny!!!!!! Will the gimpy chick also look like a mobile moving garden by the end of the day?. You could attach a trailer cart and install a horn to clear the way. Good way to get first choice!

You should have seen the day I went to the flea market with Rich. lol I had a six-seven foot vanda I was holding up and a huge miltassia with spikes whacking me in the nose...and I was zooming to the car. It was hard to see...i'm sure I looked like a moving plant stand. I need an attachment off the back of my chair to hang plants from! Oh, and I actually have a horn already. meep meep!
