Default Vandas swinging in the breeze

Hopefully, this will be the last weekend all this stuff is packed on the two patios and around the side of the house. The new shade house construction starts tomorrow.
It is really breezy out today. We are suppose to have some 50 degree weather on Saturday.

I know this a strange point to make, but apart from the beautiful communal display Cathy esp with the syncronized blooms, I just adore the vigorous busy network of roots on these plants. It is very aesthetically pleasing overall, promoting a touch of exotica and tropics to the indoor/ outdoor garden setting.

Hope you get your shadehouse completed soon and on schedule. Your anxiety levels must be higher than normal while waiting.

Wow, wow, wow, and WOW! They are so pretty. I would just love staring at them all day long with some ice tea and books, maybe some chips and salsa.

    HAHAHAHA I don't know how strict a diet...I just ordered a pizza

I do want this shade house to be able to house all the plants with room to grow. They are going to stake out 10 x 20 and then I can tell how much I can get in there - I want to be able to hang all the vandas on either side (with room for air circulation) and have a long low bench down the center for all my catts and laelias and then enough wall to be able to put all the mounted orchids up and out of the way on wire panels.
    That is the plan anyway??
