That is one fantastic looking Laelia purpurata! Sure beats the one on IOSPE website. And the more I see of the hybrids from Rothies, the more I am seeing why people go all goo goo over it...
Thanks for sharing Phylite.
Cheers
Tim
I know this will come as a surprise to everyone but I LOVE THAT Laelia... going to have to add it to my want list.
Do Wolves come in purple??
Cheers
Tim
That is an unusual and attractive
L. purpurata,
as most of the ones I see are all white,
with the varieties of color splashed only on the lip.
I agree with Bench72,
the purple is way better looking than
the pink one on IOPSE.
No but we like bright vibrant colors. My favs are Red, Purple and black. While black generally isn't considered bright think of a highly polished black truck or Harley. Or the black lady slipper that was at the orchid auction last year.Originally Posted by bench72
