    Default Cattleya maxima

    A vendor brought this one to put in her display. She couldn't get it to fit right and put it in her booth to sell. I asked a friend and orchid judge if I should get this one. He said I should because this one has a slightly different color, the lip detail is very nice, and for the veining in the petals.

    I love the veining in the lip, and it's such a nice shade of pink. Good choice!!

    I agree. This is a very interesting variation.
    I wonder if there is officially a var rosea for this species.

    You know I am usually not a big fan of the color pink, but this variation is sensational and the form of these blooms is perfect for the color combination. AL
