    Cool Cattleya Nigritian "King of Kings" X Blc. Bryce Canyon "Lakeview"

    I have been buying a ton of plants the last year...especially in the "floofie" group. This one came with two visible buds and a couple in sheath. I hope this one likes me and is a regular bloomer because it smells wonderful and you can see that neon pink from where I sit about thirty feet away! When the last bud is fat enough the plant will be on my desk.

    And the entire plant...the clay pot is to keep the wind from knocking it over.

    My only complaint is the front petals do not open fully. It has taken two and a half days for the buds to open this far...maybe in a couple days the petals will fold back farther as well.
