    Default Vuylstekeara 'Reward'

    Here is the second spike of that rare beauty coming into bloom, but because of the indoor light conditions, (being nightime) i had to use the flash, and it sort of washes out the colour I will take some better snaps tomorrow.

    Anywhoo....ENJOY!

    The first bud on Saturday....note, the colour of the bud was actually quite a lot darker than the photo shows.

    The first (and second) flower today, one day after it opened. Again, the colour is a lot darker than the photo shows.

    Good luck Janet, apparently these, true Vuyls (not those you would find at your 'box stores' that are like half vuylstekeara and half miltonia etc...) in general and this clone especially are VERY uncommon, and if they were a natural genus found in NZ, they would probably be classed as critically endangered lol
