Default Many years orchids with no blooms.

Hello! I've had these two plants for many years and have never seen a bloom on them. They seem very healthy to me, I take good care of them, but they have never bloomed. This is very frustrating. What are they and how can I help them? I recently moved the first one (dendrobium?) to a sunny spot to see if this helps. Please advise! Thanks.

The 2nd one is a schomburgkia. They both need high light.

High light means full sun? The one I moved receives about 6 hours of full sun. Is that ok?

I don't know about full sun in the tropics? Here in Florida mine get no direct sun but they are in very high light. Maybe about 40 to 50% shade till noon and then about 60 to 70% for the rest of the day.
I will say that yours look like they are getting the right amount of light. They are good shade of green.

I agree with Cathy plz give more light, in Malaysia I used black netting which the plant can get between 50 to 80 % of sunlight, your plants actually just a matter of time to bloom, good luck

I also agree. The plants appear light green (as they should). Do you feed these orchids (fertilize)?

    cheers,
