    Cool Vanda tessellata AM/AOS

    This is a cutting from an awarded plant...not sure if I can post who won the award as it is a large and well known orchid company. Lucky for me I found a notice for this orchid sale online. I brought home 3 vanda...this of course is the most amazing plant. The full size picture isn't great, but this is the only place high enough to hang it without the roots touching the ground!

    When I got home it was time to try out the new misting towers. I so cannot wait until the greenhouse is built!

    How great! I too, love the tessellata. Is that Black x Yellow. It could be a sister to one of mine? All very lovely!
    How do you like your patio misters. I bought them for a party and decided they work so well I have them on my patio permanent for all my potted plants, orchids and non-orchids.

    The full name is Vanda tessellata 'RF Orchids' AM/AOS. The misting towers will work great in the greenhouse. It was windy today so it was not as efficient at watering as it would have been on the back porch...or an enclosed space. I need to go get a hose splitter as well as a few other things yet. I wanted to make sure I got these ordered before "gardening" season is declared over and I can't find anything until spring. lol I don't know why they put stuff up...it's not like stuff quits growing here in the winter.
