Looks like that plant needs more air movement at the roots. It is probably not drying off fast enough and you have root rot issues. Take it out of the outer container and let it stay in the basked looking container. That should help.

I was watering my orchids today and thought I would finally take a picture of this. One of my catts has a leave that is completely yellow and has now totally curled in on itself. The leaf next to it has a brown stripe running down it. The rest of the plant looks healthy to me, its putting out new roots. Is this a bacterial thing?? Should I remove it from the rest of the plant?? I had purchased these plants at a large flower show in the area. They have never really taken off and I'm wondering about the quality. Looking back on it now I wonder just how healthy these plants were to begin with
Looks like that plant needs more air movement at the roots. It is probably not drying off fast enough and you have root rot issues. Take it out of the outer container and let it stay in the basked looking container. That should help.
