Wow, very pretty blooms! Your lucky you found such a healthy looking phal. ! In my stores most have... root rot, crown rot, weird flowers (genetic problem), virus, fungus, insect and blah blah blah. There could be MANY ID to it like sogo twinkle, sogo Vivien and much more. Enjoy your pretty blooms! (Cheers on Thanksgiving)

Bravo! Clive. From newbie recruited member to photographer and detective. Good call on identfying your noid. Hours of surfing usually only end up non the wiser but with eye strain. It may well have a family tree and possibly know its parents and relatives if a hybrid but could be species. These details are a tad challenging to find sometimes and worth the wait until the right eyes view it.. Beautiful color palette and looking at your pot/root studies i cant tell if that is blanket algae or moss germinating. Is this the one you mentioned? Very good strong healthy roots and its not often a phal is sold with such a good root system and quality bark. In the past have had them jam packed in moss (sold in packaging or ceramic vase) and only had its strong healthy succulent leaves to sustain it until new roots form.
