Given to me by a fellow grower, but the name tag has "Schrombkia (perfection) (Mexico) latin American". Can anyone clarify this for me, please. It's a pretty thing. 5 inches across and 3 1/2 inches deep. I know the name should be "Schomburkia". But the rest?

This looks like it could very well be Schombocattleya (Myrmecocattleya, now) Perfection (Myrmecophilia tibicinis x Cattleya loddegesii).
I think Michael is correct. The flower does look just right for the cross, and the name Perfection isn't likely to just be coincidence.
I agree with Michael. Myrmecophila tibicinis primary hybrids are beautiful.

Your flower is gorgeous! Gotta love those schombs!
Very lovely. I'm promised some Schom. divisions, if they turn out to look anything like this it would be so nice.
Cheers,
Tony
Thanks Kirk for your input. It does sound correct, doesn't it?
Nice interesting one...Looks nice without the super long spikes of schomburgkia...
