Not sure I can get a reindeer to wear this, but Phillip really likes it, and I've been taking as good care of it as I can. It's such a funny-looking thing!

Maura, I keep Platyceriums. I have always loved them. I don't think that is straight bifurcatum that looks like the cultivar 'Panama', to me.

Thanks folks - I'm not a fern person, so all I know is that Phillip calls this a "staghorn" - feel free to correct the terminology - I always like to get that straight.
You should keep your eyes open for a large cloth reindeer head/face -- like on a cheap blanket, towel, tshirt, etc. If you find one big enough, cut the material enough so that you can wrap/hang the material on the plant with the fronds as the antlers.
I'm sure Phillip will be thrilled to see it such good health when he comes home.
