    Default Phalaenopsis amabilis 'variegated'

    Chinese New Year is approaching. I guess this is the reason why the nursery is bringing in these plants that are known to flower once and never again in our climate.

    At least the foliage is attractive so you'd still have something pretty to gaze upon.

    Interesting.. I have never seen any amabilis sold during CNY, what more variegated ones.. Usually only hybrids are available..

    if this is a specie, it have to be aphrodite with such round petals and shape. btw i don't know what to thing about variegated foliage...looks interesting, quite pretty, but what the story behibg these?
